Tank Hill Trail Improvements
Completed and Opened to the Public on September 15, 2016.
Background
The purpose of the project was to replace a deteriorated log stair trail from Belgrave Avenue to the top of Tank Hill. The new box steps, were constructed from Douglas Fir timbers and compacted native soil.
Funding
The Tank Hill Trail Improvement Project was selected by the Community Opportunity Fund Selection Committee to receive funding as part of Round 4 of the Community Opportunity Fund ( COF ) Program of the 2012 Clean and Safe Neighborhood Parks Bond. Additionally, community members donated approximately $4,000 to the construction project.
