Marina Bay Trail Improvement Project Assessment

Background

This Bay Trail connector project has been incorporated into the current San Francisco Marina Improvement and Remediation project .

It includes the Bay Trail between Scott and Baker streets on Marina Boulevard. It is part of the larger Bay Trail system which extends from Marin County through the East and South Bay and back up to San Francisco.

Project Goals

  • Enhance the experience along the urban waterfront
  • Ensure safety for people walking and biking
  • Meet parking and loading needs for marina berth holders
  • Provide uninterrupted views of the bay
