Bayview Hill Trails Improvement Project

Bayview Hill is one of the most important and diverse natural areas, home to plants and animals found nowhere else in the city. The loop trail travels through grasslands and woodlands, past rock outcrops and remnants of trails and stairs built by the Works Progress Administration in the 1930s. At the trail’s upper reaches, outstanding views of the city, bay, and San Bruno Mountain spread out before you.
