Golden Gate Park - Blue Heron Boatshed

Scope of Work

At Blue Heron Lake in Golden Gate Park, the on-water boat storage shed where rental paddleboats and rowboats are kept is in poor condition and deteriorating.

This project will demolish the existing boatshed, install new timber piers, and build a new, larger boatshed in its place to accommodate the expanded fleet. Once the new boatshed is complete, the project will restore the lake edge used for construction access during the project.

Blue Heron Lake is a 12-acre lake with an island in the middle, where hundreds of park visitors come to boat every week. For more information, visit our Blue Heron Lake webpage .
