The San Francisco Planning Commission approved the construction of a 4 1/2 story office building at 500 Pine Street on March 15th, 2001, and the construction of a 19 story office building at 350 Bush Street on November 1, 2001. The conditions of approval for the two projects, as prescribed by the Planning Commission and the Recreation and park Commission, require the project sponsor to construct a 6,127 square foot extension of the existing St. Mary’s Square Park on the rooftop of the 500 Pine Street building.

Scope of Work

The scope of work may include the construction of an additional 6,127 square feet of open space, which may include planters, benches, public artwork and other site amenities.
