La renovación del parque infantil Merced Heights formó parte de la iniciativa Let’sPlaySF!, que busca inspirar la creatividad y el juego en toda la ciudad. En los próximos años, 13 parques infantiles priorizados para mejoras por un grupo de trabajo ciudadano serán rediseñados para esta y futuras generaciones de niños de San Francisco.
