División de Capital y Planificación
Nuestra División de Capital y Planificación supervisa una amplia cartera de renovaciones, desarrollos y adquisiciones de parques. Junto con los miembros de la comunidad y los defensores de los parques, nuestro equipo de Capital y Planificación se esfuerza por crear y renovar parques que aborden problemas sociales y fortalezcan la resiliencia de la comunidad. La División de Capital y Planificación se creó en 2005 en respuesta a la aprobación del Bono para Parques Vecinales de 2000. Poco después de su creación, el Alcalde y la Junta de Supervisores adoptaron el primer Plan de Capital decenal del Departamento de Recreación y Parques para evaluar las futuras necesidades de infraestructura de la ciudad, la inversión necesaria para cubrirlas y el plan de financiamiento. El Plan de Capital se actualiza y se vuelve a publicar cada dos años. Se utiliza para priorizar proyectos de capital críticos que impactan la seguridad pública. Hace especial hincapié en la rendición de cuentas, la transparencia y el cumplimiento del más alto nivel de responsabilidad fiscal.
